Development Squad

(Ages 8–14)

Our Development Squad is designed for ambitious young players aged 8–14 who are already competing in national tournaments from 1 Star through to Bronze level, as well as players who demonstrate exceptional potential and a commitment to training at a higher standard.

These sessions provide a challenging and supportive environment where players can further develop their technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills. With a strong focus on performance-based training, the Development Squad is designed to accelerate player progression and bridge the gap between grassroots competition and higher-level performance badminton.

Players will be exposed to structured training that mirrors the demands of competitive badminton, helping them build the foundations required for success at national level and preparing them for entry into our Performance Squad programme.

Whether you are already competing regularly on the national circuit or have the talent and dedication to reach the next level, the Development Squad offers the perfect pathway to unlock your potential and achieve your badminton goals.

Players are advised to attend both sessions in the week*

Players have free access to the junior social session on Wednesday.
