At Essex Badminton Academy, our Summer Programme is designed to help players of all skill levels improve their game in a fun, energetic, and professional training environment.
Led by Level 3 Badminton Coach Eddie Chow, each session is carefully structured to develop fitness, movement, technique, and overall match performance.

❋ Technical & Tactical TrainingPlayers will participate in a range of badminton-specific drills focusing on:

Smash and defence technique
Net play

Singles and doubles tactics
❋ Badminton Footwork DrillsStrong footwork is essential in badminton. Players will work on:
Court movement
Recovery speed
Balance and positioning
Multi-directional movement
Efficient movement patterns
❋ Electric Shuttle Feeder TrainingPlayers will also have access to electric shuttle feeder sessions, allowing for:
High repetition training
Faster reactions
Improved timing
Consistent practice under pressure
❋ Match Play & Game SituationsThroughout the programme, players will apply their training through:
